Green Day najavio izlazak novog albuma. Janura ulaze u studio. Album moze da se ocekuje u drugoj polovini godine. Clanovi benda tvrde da sledeci album nece biti slican prethodniku - American Idiot
U2 uveliko snima nove pesme. Na moje razocarenje neke pesme su pod uticajem trance muzike. Ali zato se ocekuju harcore gitare i ponovo su im producenti Brian Eno i Daniel Lanosi (obojica su producirali legendarni Joshua tree album). Jos uvek nje zakazan datum izlaska albuma.
Cradle od Filth - Zavrsili su turneju i sada ulaze u studio radi snimanja novog albuma, koji ce izaci nekad tokom 2008.
Izdavacka kuca: RoadRunner Records
Judas Priest - Album Nostradamus se ocekuje pocetkom 2008. iako je njegov izlazak prvobitno planiran za kraj 2006.godine. Snimljeno je 18 pesama i male su sanse da ce neke pesme biti izbacene, tako da moze da se dogodi da Judas Priest izda svoj prvi dupli album.
Album je konceptualni, a tema je prorok Nostradamus

Uf, ja jedva čekam da vidim (tj. čujem) šta je Metallica uradila...
A i omiljeni mi bend, Trivium, ulazi u studio Januara/Februara, te će album biti valjda gotov (po par nagoveštaja članova benda) krajem leta; najkasnije do Oktobra ove godine...
A i Bullet For My Valentine će album izdati u vreme kad i Metallica, budući da je maltene gotov (Februar, u oba slučaja, možda?)...

Coldplay - Maja meseca izlazi novi studijski album pod imenom "Prospekt". Producent albuma je Brian Eno koji se proslavio u grupi Roxy music, a kao solo muzicar jedan od pionira elektronske muzike. Kao producent svoju slavu je stekao produkcijom albuma Joshua Tree grupe U2

Whitesnake - Zavrseno je snimanje novog studijskog albuma koji izlazi krajem aprila. Novi album pod imenod "Good to Be Bad" sadrzi 11 novih pesama, 8 rokacina i 3 balade. Pesme su pisali David Coverdale i Doug Aldrich.
Koverdejl album ocenjuje kao nosioc pravog Whitesnake zvuka posle 20 godina.
Evo i njegove izjave: "The new album contains all the elements I enjoy about Whitesnake, and more. I can hear moments that take me back to the bluesy, early years of the band all the way through the band's musical history to fully embrace the more electric aspects of where we are now, as a band. U2 - Aprila izlazi novi album. Kao mogući novi hitovi spominju se "If I Could Live My Life Again", za koju je Bono rekao da je inspirisana argentinskim književnikom Borhesom, "Love is all we have left", "North Star", u kojoj gostuje Majkl W. Smit a koja je posvećena Džoni Kešu, i pesma "Mercy" koja je "izbačena" sa albuma "How to dismantle an atomic bomb".
Joe Satriani - 1. aprila 2008. izlazi album "Professor Satchafunkilus and the Musterion of Rock".
