Books

Search for your titles in the Amazon database. Amazon has a huge database holding information on any kind of book. Data Crow retrieves descriptions, information about the author, year of release, average user rating, a front cover picture and more! Just like with all the other modules you can easily retrieve this information and ofcourse change it.

8. Hyper's CdCatalog (cdcat)

Citat:The cdcat is graphical (QT based) multiplatform (Linux/Windows/MacOS) catalog program which scans the directories/drives you want and memoryze the filesystem (including the tags of mp3's) and store it in a small file. The used license is GPL. The database is stored in a gzipped XML format, so you can hack it, or use it if necessary :-)
Cdcat can store the content of some specified files up to a size limit if you want. (for example: *.nfo)

10. GTKtalog

Citat:GTKtalog is a GTK Disk Catalog program. It means you can create a database of all your CDs or other disks, and browse it or search specific files or folders.
GTKtalog is a tool to make disk catalog: you can use it to create a really small database with images of files and directories of your CDs. Then you can browse all your CDs very quickly, see contents of some files (tar.gz, rpm files ...). You can assign a category and a description to each directory and/or file. You can search files in your database using filename, category, description and/or file information parameters, and find in which CD the file you are looking for is.

11. GamCat

Citat:GamCat is a CD/DVD and folder catalogue written in Gambas. It uses sqlite3 server for the database. All dependencies but one are invoked during the installation of the package: you must install the gambas2-gb-db-sqlite3 package manually.

It can browse inside the ARJ, ACE, TAR, RAR, and ZIP archives, but then it requires additional packages (unrar, unzip, unace, unrar) to be installed. The project is almost finished, hopefully the 0.0.28 version will be released within days. It will include abilities for multilingual support, and fix a minor bug.

14. Basenji

15. CDCollect

Citat:a CD/DVD catalog application for gnome 2.16. Its functionality is similar to the old gtktalog application for gnome 1.4.

It's goal is to be able to catalog your entire CD collection allowing for searches of your CD/DVD files with a clean and simple interface.

Zamalo da ga ponovo pomenem. Smile Izašla verzija 2.2. Od verzije 2.0 cdcat je u potpunosti portovan na Qt4, ali nažalost na zvaničnoj strani nema slika nove verzije.
