Assistant Driller, drillship
One of my clients currently requires an Assistant Driller for their modern, deepwater, cyber-based drillship in UK North Sea.
It is a permanent, staff position.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as AD
Valid IWCF combined driller level
Valid offshore survival and medical
Cyber chair experience
Senior Drilling Operations Engineer, Singapore
One of my clients requires and experienced Drilling Engineer (drilling background) to join their team in Singapore. This position is office based with occasional visits to offshore units.
This is a residential position.
Onshore: • Follow up and update IADC Rig Specifications • Focus on drilling systems, equipment, activities and developing contacts with suppliers • Give support to day to day drilling operations • Follow up and update Operational reviews and Manuals • Conceptual engineering concentrated on operations pertaining to drilling system and well Operations. • Assist in project and contract reviews, Providing support in all aspects – including safety, quality, schedule, contractual and commercial issues • Give technical support from engineering point of view, safety and quality functions pertaining to tender reviews. • Follow up reporting from HSE (none conformance etc), Planned Maintenance and operational cost • Follow up on documentation control • Following up MR and PO logs (AMOS/ERP) • Guidance of drilling package design/specification, integration, and procurement issues Offshore Operations: • Liaise with Offshore Manager / Rig Superintendent on all aspects of scopes i.e. all drilling equipment onboard as per the deck plan and material take off document • Observe the drilling from basics to get in depth knowledge of drilling operation and equipment • Coordinate daily operational scopes and communicate effectively with off and onshore clients, management and operational teams to ensure they are conducted in a safe and efficient manner • Input to daily diary on a regular basis, recommendations and Lessons Learned documents Authority: • Issue, follow up and comment on Rig Specifications, Operational Procedures and Manuals • Follow up and comment on HSE and Planned Maintenance reports Deputy: Trainee Drilling Operations Engineer Qualifications: • Minimum 4 years experience as operations/drilling engineer or • 1 year experience as operations/drilling engineer + 5 years experience in drilling operations • Experience with hydraulic/electronic/mechanical drilling equipment and systems • Fluent in English both verbally and writing • Reasonable knowledge in using Microsoft Office products
DP Operator, semi-submersible, Brazil
One of my clients currently requires a DPO for their deepwater semi-submersible offshore Brazil.
Experience on drilling units is requires.
Previous experience with Kongsberg DP systems is a must.
This is a permanent, staff position with 28 / 28 rotation.
Toolpusher, semi-submersible, Brazil
