Duplicate Music Files Finder is a very useful program that knows to read the TAGs of the MP3 files and uses advanced search methods in order to discover duplicate music files.

What's New in This Release:

· added one more comparing mode: CRC Match - report as duplicates two files
· that have the same CRC (verrrrrry slow. It reads the entire content of the files)
· added the option to view/hide the full path of a file in the list (see Options)
· added shorcuts to the list\'s popup menu: Del-delete file(s), Ctrl+W - Play in
· Winamp, Ctrl+Del - Clear List.
· Double click opens Winamp and plays the selected file.
· User can now rename files. Select the file you want to rename from the list and press F2.
· added the option to compare only files with certain extensions...

Seek and Destroy Music Duplicates 1.9

Seek and Destroy Music Duplicates is a tool for locating and removing duplicated music files. It does not crash on corrupted files and normally suggests the best song from amongst the duplicates.

It uses an incremental scanning strategy and uses relatively few system resources. MP3, OGG, WMA, and AAC formats are supported. Seek and Destroy Music Duplicates will allow specified folders to be excluded from the search and the state of the scanner can be saved to engage incremental scanning when the application is used periodically. MP3 tag, OGG tag and file data comparators are supported. An XML report can be produced.

Duplicates are always moved to the destination folder and not deleted. The duplicate-matcher strategy is parameterized. The keep-duplicate-file strategy is parameterized. Strategy parameters can be applied to the duplicates without the need for re-scanning the files.

Panel has been added where users can recheck duplicates, uncheck deviant duplicates, or uncheck all duplicates. Application is a pure Java product and it uses multi-threading capabilities of the Java environment.
