· Version 10.4 is compatible with Windows 8.
· Engine, Ad-Aware Toolbar and "Safe browsing" feature are updated.
· Only an on-demand version is installed, if another antivirus program is detected during installation, see below for further explanation.
· Scan time has been improved by using cached technology.
· By enabling notifications on Update definitions tab, a balloon message will appear when definitions have been downloaded.
· Enabling "Shop & Bank Safely Online" feature also enables "Bad Web Site Blocking" feature and therefore the special checkbox for "Bad Web Site Blocking" has been removed.
· Chinese language is added but it is only available when Windows' Chinese localisation is installed.
· It is impossible to cancel the process applying new definitions, during both installation and execution.
· More antivirus programs are detected during installation of Ad-Aware.
· Several bug fixes, but only the most common issue is listed: Fixed an issue where Ad-Aware was not launched.
