Bygfoot 1.4.0 released
Bygfoot v1.4.0 is a football (a.k.a. "soccer") championship simulation game for Linux. Such games are quite popular among Win users in some countries, but there was no Linux equivalent -- a gap that has been fortunately filled by Bygfoot.
Bygfoot allows you to manage your team extensively by hiring and firing players, building and keeping the stadium, defining playing strategy and style and so on. Although lovers of shooter games will find it dull, Bygfoot will be seductive to those who favour strategy games and have a lot of time to spend (because it's addictive!).
The game is very user-friendly: after installation you can start playing rightaway without much care. Game documentation provides hints on how to be more successful, but most of them would be discovered by the player himself after some time.
Bygfoot is based on gtk+2 and is licenced under the GPL.
