Instalirah Ubuntu, ali GRUB zadaje probleme

Instalacija je protekla glatko, grub se instalirao. Kada se nakon restartovanja pojavio na ekranu ponudio mi je da dignem UBUNTU, (na nekoliko nacina) i Windows... s tim sto ga je krstio Windows vista longhorn (iako sam vistu skinuo ostavio sa xp)....

Kada odaberem windows kaze mi No NTLDR restart.... pomislih mozda mu je losa putanja, te pokusah da pokrenem Ubuntu, ali je i kad njega trazio restart..... nakon toga obzirom da nisam imao odakle da posaljem SOS signal morao sam se vratiti u Win iz recovery consloe sa komndom fixmbr.... sta da radim sta nije u redu sa grubom.....

Detelji instalacije sistema:

Unlocate space formatiran iz linovog programa na sledeci nacin:

10gb>5gb root primary>1gb SWAP i 4gb home.....

Instalacija prodje... odredim na kom hdd-u da ubaci grub.... i onda nastupi ono gore opisano........

podesi da ti instalira grub na (hd0), pa javi dal' je proslo. Ako nije, daj ovde sadrzaj /boot/grub/menu.lst fajla (ako uspes da udjes u linux uopste)

Kod mene mora da se instalira na hd1, jer su mi diskovi tako zakaceni....... u tome i este caka ne mogu u linux

Ubaci neki Live distro,mount-uj lin particiju i iskopiraj /boot/grub/menu.lst na win particiju.Zatim postuj ovde menu.lst...

Brksi ::Kod mene mora da se instalira na hd1, jer su mi diskovi tako zakaceni....... u tome i este caka ne mogu u linuxKol'ko ja znam, nema veze kako su zakaceni, osim ako nije neki raid (onda moze da dodje do resynca). Probaj sa (hd0), pa ako nece, ondaK cemo da trazimo resenje... Grub si instalirao u mbr, jel' tako???

root opcija u grubu treba da je particija na kojoj ti se nalazi /boot ...

Mogu dici ubuntu on je kao live... pa cu iskopirati grub, a podsetite me kojom komandom da zajasem particiju mount......

mora biti hd1, jer ako je na nuli nema loadera........

Pazi...Ako ti je Linux na hda1(ili sda1) onda MBR treba da upises u hda1 i tu je kraj.
A particiju mountujes sa 'mount /dev/hda1 <neki folder>'

Brksi ::mora biti hd1, jer ako je na nuli nema loadera........

Ovo nisam bas razumeo...kako mislis "mora"?
@pixxel je u pravu, moras GRUB instalirati u MBR prvog diska, a to je po defaultu hda0 (bez obzira sto ti je verovatno na prvoj particiji Windows, a na drugoj Ubuntu)

On u stvari tokom instalacije uvek ponudi da grub instalira na hd0, tj. na mbr. Tu ništa ne čačkati i uvek bude sve ok. Do sad me nikad nije zeznuo grub kad sam tako instalirao. Ako instaliraš pomoću alternate diska imaš i opciju rescue broken system i tu opciju da instaliraš grub.

Particija na kojoj mi je linux je hd1 tj sd1
