Preporuka za sve visejezgarne procesore, kao i za sve laptopove. Pravilnim podesavanjem ce vam se CPU manje grejati, manje struje trositi. Odatle proistice dodatno vreme na laptopu prilikom rada na baterije. Postoji i monitoring modul unutar aplikacije, koji je prilicno precizan (licno sam vrsio poredjenje sa CoreTemp). Probajte, ja ga koristim i Q6600 G0 mi je hladniji za 10-tak stepeni i radi na voltazi manjoj od 1.2875V overklokovan na 3.0ghz.

Ali vidi baš sam skoro oko te problematike lupao glavu.
Doduše na intelu . Nije bitan sam podešen takt , tako se ispostavilo GUZ - Glavom U Zid
(undervoltovanje uvek radi , ali savremeni cpu to već imaju
tu tehnologiju u njima koja transparentno radi bez da javlja nekoj spoljnoj aplikaciji )

Rezultat kod mene na celeronu core2 je da na taktu 2100Mhz
kao i na taktu 1200Mhz se isto greje pri IDLE
(a to menjanje? ide na komplikovane načine preko takozvanih C-stanja i P-stanja procesora
ali ne mogu da pohvatam tačno ko tu šta menja Confused znam da je bitan funkcionalan ACPI )

The CPU power states C0-C3 are defined as follows:

* C0 is the operating state.

Performance states

These states are implementation-dependent, but P0 is always the highest-performance state, with P1 to Pn being successively lower-performance states, up to an implementation-specific limit of n no greater than 16.

P-states have become known as SpeedStep in Intel processors, as PowerNow! or Cool'n'Quiet in AMD processors, and as PowerSaver in VIA processors.

* P0 max power and frequency
* P1 less than P0, voltage/frequency scaled
* Pn less than P(n-1), voltage/frequency scaled

odprilike da kada CPU radi na većem taktu on odradi neki posao za
kraće vreme i više vremena provede pod IDLE režimom i onda se manje greje (na većem taktu) Zagrljaj

(odnosno kada i ako i idle režimu mu se uključuje taj interni powersavings Wink )
