da li postoji neki program koji moze da .toast fajl otpakuje (ili sta god) na pc....negde sam naleteo da 7-zip to moze, kao i nero da nareze image, ali to ne uspeva...

Toast 6 runs on Mac OS X only. This is basically an .ISO file. Sonic Solutions bought out Roxio’s consumer software division on 20 December 2004. HFS images created by Toast can be pure HFS volumes, starting from the first sector. In this case, they don't contain at the 16th sector which Easy CD Creator expects from CD-ROM images (the "CD001" string) to tell if they are mode 1 or mode 2 images. Such images can't be burned with Easy CD Creator. Toast also produces hybrid images, where the ISO volume and the HFS volume are superposed. Such images can be burned with Easy CD Creator. All major packages accepting plain images (Nero, CDRWin, WinOnCD, NTI, and so on) can burn the plain mode 1 data images from the Macintosh. So, basically, if one burning program fails, try another. User vataipreikia has posted in the forum that the program 7-Zip can open a .TOAST file on a PC as well.

naleteo sam na svasta...ljudi govore da i nero moze, pa stavis na HFS, ali ne uspeva...mene interesuje da li je neko od nasih uspeo to da uradi, ima gomila individualaca koji su uradili na ovaj ili onaj nacin, a da posle toga ljudi govore da tom istom metodom nisu uspeli (kao sto je i moj slucaj)...dakle neko ko je probao sa ovih prostora (i uspeo)...ne skida mi se ovaj fajlic ponovo

Well then, I give it up to the people at Ahead software for making Nero so Mac compatible.

Today I used Nero Enterprise 5.5.10.2 to burn a Mac Toast image with simplicity.

I did not have to convert the image at all!

After copying to my WinXP box from my mac via ftp I had a file named "Mac OS 9.1 Install CD.toast" simply minded, I did two simple things.

1. renamed the file with a .nhf extension. ie. "Mac OS 9.1 Install CD.toast.nhf"

2. Opened nero and chose "Burn Image..." under the file menu. CHanged the file type to "all" and opened the above file.

3. The file type was already selected as "HFS" and everything else was at defaults or zero. Hit okay and burned.

The cd created actually booted my iMac without hesitation. As for mac OS X images, we shall see...
