Nokturnal Mortum
The story began in Kharkiv on the December, 31, 1991 with the birth of the band SUPPURATION (unholy death metal) with main members being Knjaz Varggoth, Munruthel and Xaarquath. Their first release was "Ecclesiastical Blasphemy" in 1992, and was distributed by Shiver Records in Belgium. After Sataroth joined the band in 1992 as vocalist they recorded the "Unspeakable Journey Into Subsconscious World" demo (1993). In April 1993 Wortherax (guitar) joined the band and the following month they recorded "Cosmic Flight Around Astralspher". The demo was supposed to be out as 7" EP on The Final Holocaust Records (Russia), but the label collapsed and Suppuration died in the summer of the same year.
Still, as of Autumn 1993 there was a new band CRYSTALINE DARKNESS (black metal) in place. Line-up included Knjaz Varggoth - vocals / guitar, Karpath - guitar and Munruthel - drums. Having recorded the "Mi Agama Khaz Mifisto" demo the band negotiated with View Beyond Records (Czechia).
Then in 1994 former Suppuration members got together and recorded the "Twilightfall" demo (1995) under the name of NOCTURNAL MORTUM (with "C" in the first word). As the band then went into black metal the name suffered change to NOKTURNAL MORTUM (now with "K"). In the end of 1995 - early 1996 the legendary "Lunar Poetry" demo was created and recorded. The MC was released in Spring 1996 by MetalAgen Records (Russia). Shortly after release Wortherax left the band and was replaced by Karpath and Saturious, as a second keyboard player. In the summer 1996 the second album "Goat Horns" was recorded (released in Spring 1997 by MetalAgen on MC). In December 1996, "Return Of The Vampire Lord" was recorded. It included a brand new title song and two songs of Crystaline Darkness ("Mi Agama Khaz Mifisto" and "Crystaline Darkness"). This EP was released in 1997 by MetalAgen Records as a split MC with Lucifugum "Path Of Wolf", but then Nokturnal Mortum canceled their relations with that label due to MetalAgen wrong policy. In 1996 Nokturnal Mortum with Lucifugum also recorded a joint album entitled "Vetche" - MC was released in 1998 by Oriana Production.
In 1997 Nokturnal Mortum have recorded "To The Gates Of Blasphemous Fire" album and "Marble Moon" EP that included an Ukrainian folk song "Swallow" and Hymn Of Ukraine. At the same time the band signed with The End Records (USA) that offered very good conditions and agreed to release all Nokturnal Mortum albums on CDs. So the first release was "Goat Horns" released on the March, 31, 1998. The new album "To The Gates Of Blasphemous Fire" was released on the March, 1, 1999 by The End/nuclear blast (which licensed Nokturnal Mortum for Europe with the first European release being "Goat Horns"). Meanwhile, "Goat Horns" and "To The Gates Of Blasphemous Fire" were released in the end of 1998 in MC format by Oriana - "Goat Horns" with new cover art. In January 1999 the band have fired their lead guitarist Karpath. February, 26 - May, 9 Nokturnal Mortum were recording their new album entitled "Nechrist" (with Russian and English lyrics). In Autumn 1999 Oriana Production is releasing "Nechrist" and "Lunar Poetry" in MC format.
In Spring 2000 Munruthel and Saturious had left Nokturnal Mortum. "Nechrist" CD was released on the July, 4, 2000 by The End/Last Episode. Istukan and afterwards Khaoth had joined Nokturnal Mortum as session drummers, but in the autumn Munruthel has returned to Nokturnal Mortum. Also, Vrolok (a member of RUNES OF DIANCEHT) had joined the band as a new guitarist. In the end of 2000 Saturious has returned to Nokturnal Mortum. In the beginning of 2001 Oriana Production is releasing "Return Of The Vampire Lord / Marble Moon" MC...
Nokturnal Mortum members have their own projects: MISTIGO VARGGOTH DARKESTRA - Knjaz Varggoth, MUNRUTHEL (old name - SILENTIUM) - Munruthel and FINIST - Saturious and Munruthel. Also Knjaz Varggoth, Munruthel and Saturious are members of the Polish band PIORUN. Nokturnal Mortum work with LUCIFUGUM (Zhitomir). VETCHE - their joint project.

Pagan Reign
Collective was formed in 1997 and consist on that moment of one Орея, which play searched for that there, and persistently of musicians for own collective. So has passed of the whole three years, while Orey has not got acquainted with the future drumer Sloven. Together they do a number of songs based on an old material Orey and new material Sloven. So on light occur: “ Ancient Warriors ”, “ And god Crucifyte ”, "”Dawn", ” Death - gift of the gods ”, ” Fire of Slavonion Hearts ”, ” Warrior Sword ”. The part of the texts for this material was composed by the friend of band Сергеем. In August 1999 Orey and Sloven act in the Tver State Medical Academy, where soon get acquainted with guitar Vetrodar and bass Koldun. So the structure was completed. Orey - guitar, вокал. Sloven - drums. Koldun - bass. Vetrodar - guitar. Soon program “ Ancient Warriors ” was ready. May 14, 2000 the group Pagan Reign debuted on Tver metal scene. It is necessary to note, that the guys send in slavic shirts, that was perceived not unequivocally, but all was remembered. The group has fulfilled five compositions in a mad rhythm, under cheerful approving barrackings of public. After that debut the group has won back some more concerts in fate - club “ a Gray-haired Lynx ” and ДК “Химволокно”, during which the experiments with female vocal and keys were conducted, which results were recognized unsuccessful. Then performance on a Festival of Extreme Music: with “Аутсайдер”, ” Snickers Убийца ”, "Thorns", " Deformed Flesh ". The performance on this festival has coincided with an output by first demo tape, which was written down at home. After that the large break in time follows which the group finds constant keys Svat. December 29, 2001, band, in structure five persons act on a festival НОРД - ОСТ, together with muscovites Oktagon and Tver veterans Synteresis. In two months after a concert about the care announces one of the founders of collective drumer Словен. It became the large loss for collective, both in musical, and in the ideological plan. Furthermore group has given the consent to act on opening baik of a season of May 3, 2002. On baik show knocked session drumer, which by virtue of unsufficient knowledge of a material much has spoilt, but all the group has acted adequately. Is remarkable that on middle caver songs Tears of paganism - Lunar Poetry of group Nokturnal Mortum light was cut down. “ A Christian electricity ” - was abused Орей. Also by May, 2002 the album “ Ancient Warriors ” was rewritten which began to contain a new composition under the title “ Pagan Reign ”. Now group persistently dispatches promo CD on studios of Russia and near foreign countries. At the guys the new program is prepared which is now rehearsed with again come back Словеном. February 8 2003 groups Pagan Reign acted in one. To Moscow on metal of the share Языческая Русь, together with Bytterfly Temple, Rossomahaar, Аркона and Сварга. That fact is remarkable, that the public in Moscow already knew about creativity of collective and met of the guys very roughly and with kindness. The group played in standard structure: Орей - guitar, вокал; Колдун - bass; Николай - key; Словен - shock; Ветродар - guitar. The further concerts Pagan Reign in Moscow and other large cities of Russia hereafter are planned. March 1 2003 Pagan Reign have won back in Tver together with muscovites Rossomahaar at a concert with the symbolical title Dead Winter Gone. In a concert, group Thorns also participated. In the beginning of May, 2003 Pagan Reign, have visited, Moscow studio CDM records, with the purpose of record of a new album. During four days, the purpose was successfully achieved! The title of new creation of group "Spark of Glory and Revival of Ancient Greatness". The following compositions have come in an album:

The composition " Pagan Reign " has removed with demo of an album "Ancient Warriors", however on this version the songs have appeared keys! As a whole album is sustained in spirit of the previous work of group, nevertheless, music became more complex, diverse, has appeared more Slavic melodies, also in a composition "Immortal Tribe" a consignment female vocal is perfectly ripe Masha Scream. The issuing of an album "Spark of Glory and Revival of Ancient Greatness", for his mass distribution is now planned. The group already has received the offers from some issuing firms of Russia. The exit of an album is planned for the end of August - beginning of September, 2003. The presentation will be dated for an exit of an album which will pass in Moscow, then the round in support of a new album is planned? on September 10, 2003 the album "Spark of Glory and Revival of Ancient Greatness" officially has left to the public. Pagan Reign have signed the contract on distribution of an album with the Moscow license company Sound Age productions. The album has left by the way CD and MC, to acquire a new album Pagan Reign, now it is possible in musical shops on all Russia.
