Area Separation Wall - Pregradni zid (Residential fire walls, usually with a 2- to 4-hour rating, designed to prevent spread of fire from an adjoining occupancy; extends from foundationGlossFoundation.1041 to or through the roof. Identified by codes as either "fire wall", "party wall" or "townhouse separation wall.")
Artifical marble - Veštački mermer
Artificial pond - Veštački jezero, ribnjak
Artificial stone - Veštački kamen
Asphalt - Asfalt (A mixture of dark bituminous pitch with sand or gravel, used for surfacing roads, flooring, roofing, etc)
Awning, sunshade, sunblind, overhang - Tenda
Beam - Greda (Loadbearing member spanning a distance between supports.)
Bed - Ležaj ili ležište. U ovom slučaju oivičeni rov sa podlogom. Betonske ivice daju smer i onemogućavaju rasipanje/rasturanje rastresite podloge. Setite se asfaltiranja ulica.
(to) bed - Postaviti (To set firmly and permanently in place.)
Bending - Savijanje (Bowing of a member that results when a load or loads are applied laterally between supports.)
Bitumen - Bitumen
Brick - Cigla, opeka (Open-web, flat truss structural member used to support floor or roof structure. Web section is made from bar or rod stock, and chords are usually fabricated from "T" or angle sections.)
Casing - Okvir (The trim around windows, doors, columns or piers.)
Clay blocks - Giter blokovi
Cobblestone - Kaldrma
Column - Stub (Vertical loadbearing member.)
Concrete - Beton (A heavy, rough building material made from a mixture of broken stone or gravel, sand, cement, and water, that can be spread or poured into molds and that forms a stonelike mass on hardening.)
Concrete mixer - Mešalica
Corner - Ugao (Structural framing member used to resist diagonal loads that cause racking of walls and panels due to wind and seismic forces. May consist of a panel or diaphragm, or diagonal flat strap or rod. Bracing must function in both tension and compression. If brace only performs in tension, two diagonal tension members must be employed in opposing directions as "X" bracing.)
Crushed stone - Drobljeni kamen (Crushed stone or angular rock is a form of construction aggregate, typically produced by mining a suitable rock deposit and breaking the removed rock down to the desired size using crushers)
Dome - Svod, kupola
Door - Vrata (A door is a moving structure used to block off, and allow access to, an entrance to or within an enclosed space, such as a building or vehicle)
Eaves - Streha, nadstrešnica
Foundation - Temelj (Component that transfers weight of building and occupants to the earth.)
Glass - Staklo (An inorganic mixture that has been fused at a high temperature and cooled without crystallization.)
Granite - Granit (Granite is a common type of felsic intrusive igneous rock which is granular and phaneritic in texture)
Gravel - Šljunak (Gravel is composed of unconsolidated rock fragments that have a general particle size range and include size classes from granule- to boulder-sized fragments)
Helmet - Šlem
Hinge - Baglame, šarke
Junction box / distribution box - Razvodna kutija
Macadam - Makadam
Parapet Wall - Parapet (Extension of an exterior wall above and/or through the roof surface.)
Pillar - Stub (Column supporting a structure.)
Plywood - Šperploča
Quarry - Kamenolom
Roof - Krov (A roof is part of a building envelope, both the covering on the uppermost part of a building or shelter which provides protection from animals and weather, notably rain, but also heat, wind and sunlight; and the framing or structure which supports the covering)
Roof structure - Krovna konstrukcija (Structural elements of a building or the process of assembling elements to form a supporting structure where finish appearance is not critical.)
Roof tiles - Crep
Sand - Pesak (Sand is a naturally occurring granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles.)
Scaffold - Skele
Shingle (shake) - Šindra
Site manager - Šef gradilišta
Sketch / draft - Skica

Stone - Kamen
Stone drain - Kamena drenaža

Elem, u neformalnom govoru, britanci kažu tarmac za asphalt (Ko je igrao Collin McRae ? )
